The latest evolution in 3D printing, the Hunter is a high resolution DLP (Digital Light Processing) 3D printer, capable of a wide variety of applications.

The Hunter uses photopolymer resin as it’s printing material, printing a whole layer of a model at one time. The Hunter DLP is equipped with a purpose-built HD projector which offers a 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a large colour touchscreen, that makes this 3D printer easy to control and operate.

The printer follows the style of many comparable units, with a UV-protective translucent cover that allows for a 180-degree view of the 3D printing process and lifts for easy access.

Self-developed Light Engine.

The Hunter presents a sleek and compact design with a modern, futuristic look that complements any working space. The print platform is compact with a build volume of 120 x 67.5 x150mm and a layer height of 25-50 microns. Equipped with a self-developed light engine, Hunter can finely tune the photo-curing process, optimising the wavelength of the light source to best suit the specific task to deliver quality, detailed results.

Light Intensity Uniformity.

Hunter DLP uses a liquid, called photopolymer resin, that hardens into a solid when exposed to certain frequencies of light. The Digital Light Processing (DLP) projector shines an image into a vat of resin for each layer of the object to be made. Once the first layer hardens onto a platform, the platform moves a tiny bit deeper into the pool of resin and the projector shines a new image to harden the next layer. The closable print chamber ensures that the print process is not compromised and the resin alert alarm warns when resin is low.

Exceptional Detail.

Compatible to 3rd party resin, Hunter offers users the flexibility to try four different resin types; the standard resin (FH1100), the castable resin (FH1200), the bio-compatible resin (luxaprint 3D shell) and the tough resin (FH1400). With this capacity, Hunter can be used for tough highly detailed engineering prototypes, jewelry, dental, investment casting, animation, electronics, toys, bio fabrication and medical, all with exceptional detail and quality.
